Bandhana

Bandhana holds a Bachelor's degree in psychology from the University of British Columbia and is pursuing her Master's Degree in Counselling Psychology at Yorkville University.

She is dedicated to creating a warm, nonjudgmental space where clients feel safe to explore their unique stories and challenges. Focusing on work with teens and adults, Bandhana employs a culturally responsive, trauma-informed approach to her practice, guided by empathy and genuine curiosity.

Bandhana, the daughter of immigrants, understands the complexities of navigating diverse cultural identities. She is passionate about supporting individuals through an inclusive, equitable, and anti-oppressive lens. She integrates various therapeutic approaches in her work, tailoring her methods to meet each client's unique needs and goals.

Bandhana is deeply committed to helping clients navigate a variety of challenges, such as anxiety, trauma, burnout, and identity concerns. She is particularly passionate about helping individuals who are working through complex emotional experiences, fostering resilience and reclaim their sense of agency.

Her strength-based and person-centred approach fosters self-compassion, resilience, and personal agency. Bandhana considers it a privilege to accompany her clients toward greater self-awareness and emotional well-being, empowering them to develop the tools they need to lead fulfilling, balanced lives.
