Gagan Khun Khun

Gagan is a dedicated and compassionate Counselling Psychology student currently in the final stages of her Masters degree at Yorkville University. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Biology and Psychology from the University of Victoria, offering a strong foundation in both scientific and psychological aspects of mental health.

Fluent in English and Punjabi, Gagan is committed to helping individuals from diverse cultural backgrounds. She approaches therapy with a multicultural perspective, valuing each client’s unique identity and experience. Her therapeutic approach includes, but is not limited to, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Person-Centered Therapy, Solution-Focused Therapy, and Mindfulness-Based Therapy. Gagan is highly adaptable and collaborates with clients to create personalized therapy plans. Her areas of focus include supporting individuals through depression, anxiety, stress, life transitions, relationship issues, and self-esteem concerns.

Driven by a passion for breaking the stigma surrounding mental health, Gagan fosters an empathetic, non-judgmental environment built on genuineness and unconditional positive regard. She prioritizes understanding her clients fully and working to make them feel as comfortable as possible. Always curious and open to learning more about other cultures and identities, Gagan aims to empower individuals to take charge of their well-being and live their most authentic lives.
