Gagandeep Kaur
Gagandeep Kaur is a counselling intern currently pursuing a Master of Arts in Clinical Psychology, with a strong passion for supporting individuals in their mental health and personal growth journeys. She brings a warm, empathetic, and culturally sensitive approach to her work, grounded in her experience volunteering in the field of psychology in India.
She also holds a Master’s degree in Biotechnology, which contributes to her holistic and evidence-informed perspective on mental health, integrating an understanding of both biological and psychological aspects of well-being.
Her professional path was deeply influenced by her time working in care homes, where she developed a genuine understanding of the emotional, social, and psychological challenges individuals may face. These experiences strengthened her commitment to creating a safe, respectful, and non-judgmental space where clients feel heard, valued, and supported.
Gagandeep works with young adults and adults experiencing stress, anxiety, life transitions, and emotional difficulties. She draws from Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Person-Centered Therapy, and Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT), tailoring her approach to meet each client’s unique needs. Her work focuses on helping clients explore their thoughts and emotions, recognize their strengths, and move toward practical, meaningful change.
Clients can expect a collaborative and supportive environment where they are encouraged to move at a pace that feels comfortable for them. As a counselling intern, she works under the supervision of a licensed professional to ensure ethical and effective care.
She is committed to continuous learning and to walking alongside clients as they build resilience, deepen self-awareness, and create positive change in their lives.
