Sukhleen, RCC
Sukhleen is a clinician-in-training currently completing her Masters in Counselling Psychology program at Yorkville University. She holds a Bachelor of Science from the University of the Fraser Valley and is currently in the process of registering with the BCACC to become a RCC.
Fluent in both English and Punjabi, Sukhleen is committed to providing inclusive, culturally sensitive support to clients from all backgrounds. She welcomes all individuals including children, youth, adults, and families, and strives to create a warm, respectful, and non-judgmental therapeutic environment.
Sukhleen’s approach is grounded in evidence-based practices such as Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioural Therapy (DBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Emotion-Focused Therapy (EFT), and the Person-Centered approach. She believes in meeting clients where they are and walking alongside them as they work toward their goals, strengths, and values.
Her areas of focus include adolescent counselling, life transitions, and mood disorders. She is passionate about supporting clients through periods of uncertainty, change, and emotional difficulty by fostering self-awareness, resilience, and healing. Sukhleen is committed to creating a supportive environment where clients can explore their inner strengths and move toward lasting, meaningful change.
